One plan for your whole home
CloudEMS is becoming a cloud service that steers your home battery, solar panels, boiler and pool together on dynamic electricity prices — so you make the most of your own sun without any tinkering.
Why CloudEMS
After net metering, every kilowatt-hour counts
From 2027 the Dutch net-metering scheme ends. Generating and using your own power becomes premium, feed-in is worth less, and dynamic prices get more volatile. Smart steering becomes a necessity, not a luxury.
Most solutions control a single device and are brand-locked. CloudEMS optimises your whole home as one, brand-independent — as a cloud service, without you having to build or maintain any technical systems.
One plan steers everything
Not device-by-device tinkering, but one economic plan that steers battery, solar, boiler and pool together.
Transparent, never fake data
You see what happens and why — planned next to actual. An unknown value is shown as unknown, never as an invented number.
Your data, treated with care
We process no more than needed and handle your data carefully.
How it works
One plan, continuously adjusted
- CloudEMS connects to your energy devices: smart meter, solar, battery, boiler and pool.
- The cloud reads your usage and the dynamic prices and continuously computes the best plan.
- That plan steers your devices within the limits of your connection — automatically.
- You see it all back: planned next to actual, cost and savings.
A look inside
Your energy, in one overview
An impression of the CloudEMS dashboard in the cloud: the plan for today, how it steers your boilers, and what CloudEMS detects in your usage.
Impression · concept — example view with sample data, not real measurements.
Features
What it does
tested in a real home
- Economic battery optimisation on dynamic (EPEX) prices
- Dynamic control of solar inverters; orientation and phase are learned automatically
- Smart, efficient boiler heating (heat pump where possible)
- Pool: filter (hygiene) and heat pump (heating), planned separately and economically
- Appliance recognition from your total usage and standby-consumption insight
- Transparent overview: planned next to actual, cost and savings per hour
planned
- Steering multiple batteries and brands together to zero-on-the-meter
- Automatic absence and holiday detection
- Imbalance-market trading (after net metering)
- Broader device and brand support
Status
Where we stand
- CloudEMS is being built as a cloud service by a small, dedicated company (BBJL B.V., Cuijk).
- The first cloud foundations are already in the system: a hosted connection that can exchange measurement data and control with a central service, and the setup for accounts and licences. We are now building the full cloud service on top of that.
- We develop and test everything in a real home on Home Assistant — our development and proving environment where the optimisations run and are refined every day. The cloud service that comes out of this is what we bring to market.
- Launch planned for 2027, in time for the end of net metering.
- Not yet publicly available; interested people can sign up for early access.
